A Late Second Pattern (1934-1945) Waffen-SS Visor Skull
This is a late war second pattern (1934-1945) Waffen-SS (Schutzstaffel) visor cap; in silvered cupal, but with all of the silvering worn off; two replacement prongs on the reverse (three prongs previously attached to the outside of the skull; measuring 30.48 mm x 29.26 mm; notably, the die used to stamp out the eyes and nose made contact with the skull off-place (slightly too low) - furthermore, the outlines of the “cracks” on the forehead are shallow”; near very fine condition.
