This is a single scarce trade diamond belonging to a Waffen-SS Quartermaster Sergeant. It is manufactured out of hand embroidered silver/aluminum bullion wire in the shape of a German Gothic “S” on a black wool backer, and with a soft fabric core. The trade diamond measures 70 mm x 47 mm, with a period staple above the “S” from where it was attached to the board. In better than extremely fine condition.
