(Waffen-SS Schulterklappen). A rare set of Waffen-SS Mann shoulder straps, each constructed of black wool with field-grey wool reverse liners, trimmed with purple piping, the reverse of each with an integrated strap, both unmarked and measuring 45 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.

Footnote: While undoubtedly of period manufacture, no primary evidence exists attributing specific branch use of purple Waffenfarbe within the SS. It is speculated that it may have been utilized by judicial or courts martial personnel.
