Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Visor Cap Eagle by Ferdinand Wagner
(Waffen-SS Mützenadler). Constructed of cupal, with two of three reverse attachment prong intact, consisting of a SS-style German national eagle with detailed feathering, clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/8” for Ferdinand Wagner, Pforzheim, measuring 69.67 mm (w) x 32.20 mm (h), weighing 5.4 grams, there is evident that the attachment prongs have been re-soldered or replaced, otherwise in near extremely fine condition.
