This is an extremely well preserved set of post-1940 Waffen-SS Hauptscharführer Rank collar tabs, consisting of a left and right collar tab, the left collar tab displays two strips of fine silver bullion wire tightly wrapped around cord, with black embroidery in the valley between the strips, stitched in place near the bottom edge, on a black wool base, with two silvered zink rank pips, with standard buckram backer, the right collar tab displays a set of hand-embroidered SS runes in silvered bullion wire tightly wrapped around a white fabric thread, on a black wool base, with standard buckram backer, each measuring 35 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition.
