(33. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS "Charlemagne" (französische Nr. 1) Ärmelschild). Constructed of field-grey rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered, BeVo-style shield with a French tri-colour, topped by an inscription of “FRANCE”, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 95 mm (h), a rare example in unissued and extremely fine condition.

Provenance Footnote: This item was brought to the United States as part of a souvenir lot in 1946 by Captain Glennon of the 318th US Infantry.
