What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A textbook example of a SS 4-Year Long Service Award (SS-Dienstauszeichnung); in blackened bronze; unmarked, but these medals were produced exclusively by Deschler & Sohn of Munich, and Lorenz of Unterreichenbach; very fine manufacturing quality with good detailing on the faces of the medal; the obverse bearing the standard SS runes with an open-ended oak leaf wreath with ribbons on the bottom of the wreath; the reverse inscribed “Für Treue Dienste in der SS” (For Loyal Services in the SS) superimposed onto the numeral “4”; on original ribbon; measuring 37.95 mm in diameter; weighing 23.8 grams; with the majority of the original black finish worn off due to age and wear; a proudly worn example; in overall very fine condition.
