Constructed of silvered tombac in the shape of a swastika, with a set of SS runes superimposed on the swastika within an oak wreath tied together at the base via a ribbon; the reverse inscribed “Für Treue Dienste in der SS” (German - For Loyal Services in the SS); on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, featuring a set of hand embroidered silver aluminum bullion SS runes; measuring 38.17 mm (w) x 37.74 mm (h); weighing 25.1 grams; Accompanied by its original case of issue; constructed of a heavy cardstock core, with a lightly textured black faux leather (leatherette) exterior; the exterior of the lid embossed with the SS runes in white, with a lined interior lid, with a red felted medal bed; with a severed interior fabric hinge cover, functional spring catch with stud release, and a functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 46 mm (w) x 103 mm (h); in virtually mint condition.
