Constructed of lightweight cotton with a printed multi-colour design, featuring a wide horizontal black strip in the centre with white printed script reading “Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht/German People’s Militia Armed Forces”, flanked on either side by a white national eagle (Hoheitszeichen) with outstretched wings, clutching a wreath with a mobile swastika (Hakenkreuz) in the centre; two thin white lines on the top and bottom of the black strip, with a red horizontal border and the top and bottom edges; measuring 173 mm x 64 mm (folded); mint and unissued condition.
