(Waffen-SS Ärmelband Kriegsberichter mit Papiere und Fotos). A lot of insignia, documents, and photos from the estate of Waffen-SS Kriegsberichter (War Correspondent) Johann Baumgartl, including:

1. A Kriegsberichter cuff title, constructed of ribbed black rayon, the obverse trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire tresses, bearing a central machine-embroidered silver-grey inscription of “KRIEGSBERICHTER”, the reverse bearing the remnants of an adhesive formerly securing in place a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label, otherwise unmarked, measuring 3 mm (w) x 48 cm (l), the Sig runes have been carefully removed from the obverse inscription with minor consequent disruption to the base material, in near extremely fine condition.

2. A lot of 13 photos, two of which consist of portraits of Baumgartl in an SS uniform (one with a superb view of an M43 Field Cap with embroidered Totenkopf insignia), supplemented by images of unidentified military and police personnel with family photos, some bearing handwritten reverse captions, in extremely fine condition.

3. An extensive lot of wartime and postwar documents, consistent of driver’s licenses, ration stamps, Kriminalpolizei files, travel passes, and employment paperwork, a researchable group in near extremely fine condition.
