An SA Enlisted Man’s Belt Buckle
A well preserved textbook example of an SA Enlisted Man’s buckle; scarce example with the eagle’s head positioned very high between the two ropes; in stamped brass with a brass plated nickel face plate affixed to the buckle via two solder points; rotated swastika; unmarked; measuring 63 mm x 47 mm; dome of the obverse is dinged on the left and right of the eagle’s feet from wear; the face plate has detached itself slightly from the buckle, otherwise near very fine condition.
