A pair of Heer Enlisted personnel belt buckles, including:
1. An Imperial-era buckle, constructed of partially silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and laurel branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with minor scratching and tarnishing evident, in very fine condition.
2. A Third Reich-era buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
