1. One constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the latter retaining a period original black leather strap, the strap bearing an embossed maker’s mark of “F.W. ASSMANN & SÖHNE, LÜDENSCHEID” and manufacture date of “1939”, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with surface oxidation throughout, in very fine condition.
2. One constructed of grey painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of Christian Theodor Dicke, Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with moderate loss of finish throughout, in very fine condition.
