(Deutsche Heer Koppelschloss). An Army belt buckle by Gebr. Kugel und Fink of Lüdenscheid, constructed of die-stamped aluminum, the obverse centre featuring a Wehrmacht-style German national eagle bordered by a oak leaves and the inscription “GOTT MITUNS,” surrounded by a pebbled finish, the reverse with a solid catch, marked with the maker mark in Gothic script “G. K. & F.,” a pouch support strap attached, comprising of a short, brown leather strap wrapped around the prong post of the buckle and sewn to itself, measuring 62 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), surface shows small scratches and the leather strap is well worn, and in overall near very fine condition.
