Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Enlisted Personnel Belt Buckles
                (Gürtelschnallen). A pair of Enlisted personnel belt buckles, including a Heer buckle, constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some oxidation evident, in very fine condition, and; a HJ buckle, constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, with oxidation particularly evident to the reverse, in very fine condition.
