(CVJM = Christlicher Verein junger Männer) : Two-piece construction, die-stamped nickle insignia affixed to a brass base, unmarked, the insignia illustrating an open Bible in the centre fronting the overlapping letters "PX", surrounded by the inscription "AMERIKA-EUROPA-ASIA-OZEANIA-AFRIKA", inscribed "ALLZEIT BEREIT" above with a wreath of laurel leaves below, 49 mm x 62.2 mm, contact marks and surface wear, very fine.

From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R.
