Germany, Third Reich. A Reich Forestry Service Official’s Belt and Buckle
(Reichsforstdienst Gürtel und Schnalle). A Reich Forestry Service official’s belt and buckle, the former constructed of dark brown leather, featuring dual sliding silvered bronze clasps with dual brown leather loops, perforated with dual eyelets, one end looped and secured in place with dual magnetic metal rivets, the latter constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, around a raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a clasp and integrated loop and buckle connecting to the belt, both unmarked, the belt measuring 1040 mm in length, the buckle measuring 50 mm in diameter, with some material fatigue and loss of finish evident to the belt and buckle respectively, in very fine condition.
