Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Relic Belt Buckles
(Gürtelschnallen). A pair of relic belt buckles, including a Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s buckle, constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within an oval laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with oxidation throughout, in poor condition, and; a HJ EM/NCO’s buckle, constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with oxidation evident throughout, in poor condition.
