Germany, Kriegsmarine. An EM/NCO’s Service Belt Buckle, by Josef Feix & Söhne
A textbook example of a worn Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO’s service belt buckle; constructed of steel with its traditional grey finish; the obverse with a circular rope with the lower half of the circle filled with an oak leaf wreath, and the other half inscribed “Gott Mit Uns” (God with Us), with a smaller circular rope, with a raised lightly textured field with a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons; the reverse maker marked “JFS” for “Josef Feix & Söhne” manufacture; measuring 64 mm x 48 mm; in overall near very fine condition.
