Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer Dress Brocade Belt and Buckle
(Tressenfeldbinde). An aluminum belt buckle, on the right end of the belt, with a silvered pebbled field, with a gilded eagle (a second pattern eagle with flared tail) affixed by two prongs in the center, bordered by an oak leaf wreath, reverse unmarked, measuring 54.89 mm (w) x 50.06 mm (h), attached to a 45 mm wide dress belt, constructed of finely ribbed aluminum brocade 45 mm wide, with two charcoal horizontal stripes and centering thin red line, all superimposed on a Luftwaffe grey cloth backing, with a drab olive green leather tab stitched in place on the underside of the left side, with thirteen rows of two holes each for length adjustment, matching a silvered aluminum receiving clip, measuring 109 cm in length, and in near mint condition.
