Constructed of oval aluminum with a pebbled finish; the obverse depicting a gilded aluminum “droop tail” Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons; the reverse with a latch; marked “OLC” for “Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid” on the reverse; with a dual-prong spring bar, and aluminum catch; measuring 53 mm (w) x 48 mm (h); in overall near mint condition.
