A Heer buckle, constructed of magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) with oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
2. A Luftwaffe buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, set within an oval laurel leaf wreath on a pebbled background, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of J. Deutschbein, Euskirchen, measuring 64 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
