A 1942 Black Leather Belt; R.Z.f.H.22

Belt is fabricated from a very thick leather with a smooth finished black upper, smooth finished light brown underside, a tab stitched in place on the underside with a smooth finished brown upper on the right end, the tab with seven rows of two holes each for length adjustment, the tab inscribed in black ink with the owner's name, most of which has faded with time but the first letter "K" remaining very clear, magnetic metal receiving clip in field gray on the left end, emboss stamped "R.Z.f.H.22." and dated "1942" on the underside of the belt where it wraps around to the reverse on the left end, the belt measuring 44 mm x 1,020 mm. Belt remains very stiff, exhibiting surface wear on the upper, light wear on the underside, crazing evident on the tab, better than very fine.
