Germany, Third Reich. A Lot of Belt Buckles
(Gürtelschnallen). A lot of three belt buckles, including a Heer EM/NCO’s buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central raised Heer-style German national eagle, within a ribbed ring bearing a raised inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked “N. & H.” for Noelle & Hueck, Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), the obverse swastika has been ground out and some loss of finish is evident, in overall very fine condition; an Ordnungspolizei EM/NCO’s belt buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a circular ribbed wreath with a raised inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and oak leaves, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked “C.T.D.” for Christian Theodor Dicke, Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), the obverse swastika has been ground out and some denting is evident, in overall very fine condition, and; a HJ EM/NCO’s belt buckle, constructed of magnetic metal, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/46” for Wilhelm Schroder & Co., Lüdenscheid, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), the obverse swastika has been ground out and some oxidation is evident, in overall very fine condition.
