Germany, Third Reich. A Mint Land Customs Official’s Dress Belt and Buckle

A Land Customs’s Official’s dress belt and buckle, the former constructed of a reinforced smooth dark green wool base, the exterior topped by a silver aluminum wire tresses bisected by a green rayon threaded band with a central silver aluminum wire stripe, featuring two sliding loops of identical construction, one end stitched into a loop to accommodate an original aluminum loop, the opposite end featuring a reverse light brown leather tongue perforated with ten sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, unmarked, measuring 4.5 cm (w) x 112 cm (l), in near mint condition; the latter constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a government-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a clip and swivel loop, maker marked with the logo of Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, measuring 50 mm in diameter, in near mint condition.
