Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Belts
(Gürteln). A pair of belts, including a NSDAP Political Leader’s belt, constructed of pressed brown leather, one end completing in an integrated gilded aluminum loop bearing raised oak leaves on the obverse, marked on the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/44” for Paul Cramer & Co., Lüdenscheid, the opposite end perforated with eight sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, stamped on the reverse with a RZM logo and an illegible maker code, measuring 58 mm (w) x 890 mm (l), some material fatigue is evident in addition to a rectangular piece of the leather being cut out, in fair condition; a Heer EM/NCO’s belt constructed of pressed black leather, one end completing in an integrated aluminum loop, the opposite end with a reverse leather tongue perforated with five sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 780 mm (l), with material fatigue evident, in fair condition; also including a small strip of belt and buckle which appears to be from a Luftwaffe belt, unmarked, in poor condition.
