(DAF = Deutsche Arbeitsfront): In stamped aluminum, reverse marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia, maker marked "M4/39" (F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid) and marked with the stylized Assmann "A", with paper tag printed in red ink and dual stapled to the prong bar, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) and the German Labour Front insignias, inscribed "Werkschar-Koppelschloss", stamped in faded black ink "M4/39" and number stamped in black ink "Nr. 354649" and marked "A", measuring 48.7 mm x 63.5 mm, near mint. This particular buckle is exhibited on page 337 of Angolia's publication.
