(Reichsarbeitsdienst) : In stamped aluminum, maker marked "LGS" (L. Gottlieb Söhne, Lüdenscheid) and marked "36" (1936) on the reverse, measuring 48.3 mm x 64.2 mm, emboss stamped with the "L. GOTTLIEB & SÖHNE OBERSTEIN" maker mark and dated "1936" on the tab, mint. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 358 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
