Constructed of gilt aluminum; illustrating an eagle with its head facing to its left, clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, and backed by a full wreath of oak leaves, maker marked “RZM M4/116” for “Hermann Wernstein of Jena-Lobstedt” on the reverse; measuring 56 mm in diameter; possibly ground recovered; in near very fine condition.
