Die-stamped bronze with a gold-coloured wash, hollow back, unmarked, with paper tag printed in black ink and stapled to the belt loop, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia, inscribed "Zweidornichnalle nach Borschrift der Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP" (two buckle according to the instructions of the NSDAP Reichszeugmeisterei), marked "B" and numbered "No 423393", 49.8 mm, scattered wear in the gold-coloured wash and oxidation spotting, better than very fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 162 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
