A Scarce Early Pattern SA Enlisted Buckle with Matching Leather Belt
This is a scarce early pattern SA enlisted man’s buckle with the static (non-rotated) swastika; two piece construction; crafted of die-stamped brass with brass face plate attached to buckle via two solder points; eagle’s head is below the bottom rope; unmarked but likely an Assmann & Söhne example; measuring 62 mm x 48 mm; face plate slightly dented with scratch marks on top right of buckle; near very fine condition. Leather belt crafted of thick chocolate brown leather; with metal clip receiver on one end and a leather tab with fifteen double vertically oriented holes for length adjustment; one extra set of holes made by the user onto the leather surface; measuring 990 mm x 43 mm; overall near extremely fine condition.
