A Second War German SS EM/NCO’s Standard Issue Belt Buckle by Overhoff & Cie
This is a well preserved textbook example of a SS EM/NCO’s Standard issue belt buckle; stamped nickel-silver; the obverse with a standard SS motif consisting of a national eagle with spread wings clutching wreathed static swastika, and the SS motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” in raised lettering between two roles; the reverse with standard double-claw prongs and a catch; maker marked “O&C” for “Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid” and “Ges. Gesch.” on the reverse; with standard double-claw prongs and a catch on the reverse; measuring 63 mm x47 mm; a textbook example; in extremely fine condition.
