(SS Gürtel mit Schnalle). A SS EM/NCO’s belt and buckle, the former constructed of pressed black leather, with one end completing in an integrated aluminum clip maker marked with the logo of Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, the opposite end featuring a reverse tongue perforated with five sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, bearing an illegible etched owner’s name on the interior, measuring 44 mm (w) x 1110 mm (l), with age-appropriate wear and fatigue of the leather evident, in fair condition; the buckle constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, within a ribbed wreath bearing an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a loop and dual attachment claws, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “822/38” for Richard Sieper & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some scratching and oxidation evident, in very fine condition.
