The third document is a preliminary certificate for the Iron Cross 2nd Class. It is dated to November 22, 1916 and signed by a Colonel and Regiment Commander, the name could be Ulrich or similar. The award itself was received on November 7, 1916. The recipient is reservist Emil Schröder of the 6th Company of the Homeland Defense Infantry Regiment 17. (C:142)
