A 1919 Berlin Local Election Poster of the Zentrumspartei
An election poster, measuring 185x292mm, near mint condition, for the local election in Charlottenburg (became a district of Berlin in 1920) on February 23, 1919. The issuer is the Zentrumspartei (Centre Party), a lay Catholic political party that was one of the most important parties of the Weimar Republic, and one of the oldest political parties in Germany. In the 1919 Berlin elections, the party got 5.7% of the votes, making it the 5th strongest party and securing it eight seats in the local parliament.
