A 1939 Discharge Document for Administrative Contender Rolf Kessler
Printed in black ink on an off-white paper stock, the personal inscriptions in black typewriter face, inscribed "Im Namen des führers und Reichskanzlers entlasse ich der Verwaltungsanwärter Rolf Kessler auf seinen Antrag. Dresden, den 30 März 1939. Für den Reichsarbeitsminister Der Reichsstatthalter in Sachsen" (On behalf of the Fuhrer and Chancellor, I release Administrative Contender Rolf Kessler at his request. Dresden, March 30, 1939. For the Minister of Labour, the Reich Governor in Saxony), signed in black ink "Martin Werfschmann", large embossed spread-winged eagle insignia inside a full wreath of oak leaves at the lower left with the inscription "IV E: W.M. /K 43" immediately to the right of the insignia, the document measuring 420 mm x 297 mm, folded once to a finished size of 210 mm x 297 mm, two-hole punched in the left margin, with fold marks, lightly soiled, better than very fine.
