At the top, the parent organisation of “Strength Through Joy” is mentioned, Die Deutsche Arbeitsfront (The German Labour Front). The concert takes place on March 29, 1941 in the German House, the city is unknown. At the bottom, the event is advertised by the fact that the orchestra consists of about 65 musicians. Interested parties are advised to buy tickets early enough. “Strength Through Joy” was a state-operated program of the German Labour Front, intended to entertain the German people and provide them with everyday after-work activities and affordable holiday travels. During the 1930s, it became largest tourism operator. Especially its Mediterranean cruises were highly sought after.
