A 1942 Black Grade Wound Badge Award Document Presented to NCO Ludwig Kehl

This is a fine black grade wound badge award document awarded to the Non-Commissioned Officer Ludwig Kehl of the 2nd Pionier Regiment 47 for a single injury sustained on January 29th, 1942. The award was presented in Vienna (Austria) on March 8th, 1942. It bears the signature of the Oberstabsarzt and Chefarzt of the Reserve Field-Hospital in Vienna. It also bears a stamp of the national seal. The document measures 200 mm x 142 mm, and is in overall near extremely fine condition with some minor grease staining near the bottom left corner.
