What's a max bid?

A very unique Waffen-SS Recruitment Booklet containing details about the interior organization of the Waffen-SS, possible career possibilities within the SS (with basic position requirements), as well as an application form. It is titled “Dich ruft die SS” (The SS Calls You), published in 1942. It was intended for the recruitment of boys and young men into the SS, and is divided into two parts - the first part is about the structure and tasks of the SS - with encouraging words of the Führer, the Oath of the SS, career possibilities and their respective requirements (age, academics, etc) as well as their duties and promotional opportunities, notes to the parents of potential applicants, and an application form - the second part contains stories of SS members during the war, with multiple wartime photographs and illustrations; measuring 148 mm x 205 mm, with 96 pages in total.
