A 1943 Nuremberg Rally Postcard
Postcard showing tribune of Nuremberg Rally, 9.6 x 7.5 cm. Date of item: 1943. Condition: good, signs of aging, slight rip. A postcard showing the tribune used for the Nuremburg Rally. At the bottom it reads: Beginning of the Nuremberg Rally. The podium of the Führer and the two monumental insignia at the honour tribune of the Luitpold arena. The card has been sent from Würzburg to somebody named Schiffer in Augsburg in Apr 1943, however the Nazi party’s Nuremberg Rallies were only held each year between 1933 and 1938, for the purpose of propagating Nazi ideology. The script is called Kurrent, an old German handwriting style. The writer has used most of the card’s backside surface, as well as partly the front.
