A 1944 Issue of the NSFK Magazine
A copy of the NSFK (National Socialist Flying Corps) magazine, 16 pages, measuring 211x296mm, near mint condition. It is issue 9 from volume 6, dated to September of 1944. It contains a death roll of NSFK members, a list of newly decorated members, an article about Senior Lieutenant Erich Hartmann, winner of the Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves and Diamonds at the age of 22 (eventually becoming the most successful flying ace in the history of aerial warfare), articles about gliding, and the training of the young generation.
