A Formal Invitation & RSVP Card to Dinner with AH at the Reich Chancellery
An invitation card to dinner with the Führer and an accompanying RSVP card. They measure 177x113mm and 179x110mm, respectively, and are in mint condition. The invitation card’s golden letters say: The Führer and Chancellor of the German Reich. It goes on to say that he asks for the pleasure of the company of Mr. … to join him on … for dinner at … o’clock. The guest should wear either a tuxedo or a uniform. The address is 77 Wilhelm Street in Berlin, which is the address of the Reich Chancellery. It also states that the guest should RSVP. Contact information for calling is given at the very bottom. The second card is empty, except for a golden border around the edges and an imperial eagle with a swastika. This card was used to RSVP by mail.
