A Kriegsmarine Document for War Merit Cross 2nd Class Signed by PLM Recipient

An award document for the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords. It measures 148x209mm, better than very fine condition with some signs of aging. The recipient is Verwaltungsobergefreiter (Administrative Senior Lance Corporal) of the Kriegsmarine Paul Roth. The document is dated to Paris on March 26, 1943. It carries a facsimile of the signature of Commander-in-Chief of Naval Group Command West, General Admiral Wilhelm Marschall. Footnote: General Admiral Wilhelm Marschall (1886–1976) was a recipient of the Pour le Merite during the First World War and the German Cross in Gold during the Second World War.
