A lot of six picture postcards, all measuring 148x104mm, near mint condition with slight age-related discolouration on the backs. The postcards are from the series “Die siegreichen Fahnen und Standarten der Wehrmacht” (the victorious flags and standards of the Wehrmacht), numbers 1, 11, 14, 16, 17, and 18. All have been designed by artist Gottfried Klein. #1: AH - Oberbefehlshaber der Wehrmacht (Adolf Hitler - Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht) The card reads: “Solange ich lebe, werde ich für des deutschen Volkes Wiedererhebung, für seine Zukunft und seine Größe kämpfen.” (“As long as I live I will fight for the re-raising, the future, and the greatness of the German nation.”) #11: Artillerie (Artillery) #14: Fahrabteilung (Driving detachment) #16: Jagdflieger (Fighter Pilots) #17: Flakartillerie (Anti-aircraft Artillery) #18: Luftnachrichten (Aviation Signals)
