Award certificate Iron Cross 2nd Class, measuring 141x201mm, extremely fine condition with creases. Award certificate Anti-Aircraft Flak Battle Badge, measuring 210x296mm, very fine condition with folding creases, minor rips, and some fraying. Discharge papers from Luftwaffe 1946, measuring 203x268mm, very fine condition with some age spots, scuffed edges, and repaired tears along the folding creases. At the time of the Iron Cross award, Glasmacher holds the rank of Unteroffizier (NCO). The document is dated to Staff Quarters on December 3, 1943 and signed in blue ink by General der Flieger and Commanding General of the 14th Aviation Corps, Joachim Coeler. At the time of the Flak Badge, Glasmacher was a Gefreiter (Lance Corporal). He served in the 12th Company of the (motorized) Flak Regiment 111. The document is signed at Staff Quarters on March 25, 1942 in blue ink by a Lieutenant General, whose name could be Weihemann or similar. It carries a stamp from the Luftgaukommando Western France. The discharge papers are in English and German. Glasmacher was born December 15, 1920 in Berlin. His peace-time occupation is carpenter. He lives in Bremen, northern Germany. The document is dated to May 7, 1946 and certified by the signature in black ink of Edward D. Langville, 2nd Lt. Inf. Asst. Provost Marshal.

Footnote: Joachim Coeler (1891–1955) was a recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross. He also received both the Iron Cross 2nd and 1st Class both in the First and the Second World War.
