At the time of the Iron Cross award, Glasmacher holds the rank of Unteroffizier (NCO). The document is dated to Staff Quarters on December 3, 1943 and signed in blue ink by General der Flieger and Commanding General of the 14th Aviation Corps, Joachim Coeler. At the time of the Flak Badge, Glasmacher was a Gefreiter (Lance Corporal). He served in the 12th Company of the (motorized) Flak Regiment 111. The document is signed at Staff Quarters on March 25, 1942 in blue ink by a Lieutenant General, whose name could be Weihemann or similar. It carries a stamp from the Luftgaukommando Western France.
