An Award Document for Wehrmacht Long Service Award to the Kradschützen
An award certificate for the Wehrmacht Long Service Award 4th Class. It measures 203x291mm and is in near mint condition, with visible folding creases and a few age spots. The 4th Class of this decoration was awarded to soldiers who served in the Wehrmacht for four years. The decoration is awarded to NCO Josef Vogler, who served in the 1st Company of the Kradschützen (motorcycle mounted infantryman) Battalion 3. The document is dated to Berlin on April 1, 1937, and signed in black ink by the Commander of the 3rd Panzer Division, Lieutenant General Ernst Feßmann (1881–1962), a veteran of the First World War, during which he was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd and 1st Class.
