These include: A membership card of the German airfleet society, chapter of the city of Worms, from January 1911. 14.1 x 9.3 cm; A card from the Upper Rhine Society for Air Travel to probationary judge Paul Becker. 15.4 x 12.3 cm; An announcement for a meeting of the Upper Rhine Society for Air Travel on Sep 21st, 1909. The announcement also states that if enough people attend, there will be a balloon fox hunt. 14.5 x 22.8 cm (folded in half); A ticket to the international air travel exhibition in Frankfurt/Main, 1909. 10.6 x 7.2 cm; A ticket for the national air race in Kiel, June 17th to 23rd, 1911. 9.8 x 5.8 cm; Handwritten notes concerning a balloon; An article from a newspaper about a public display of balloon preparations and lift off. 9.3 x 11.3 cm; 6 photos of the public display, showing the crowd and the balloons. Every picture has an engravement that names P. Blumberger, probably the photographer, and the name of the city of Worms. 16.6 x 11.3 / 10.2 x 15.8 cm; 7 photos taken from a balloon, showing cities lying below the path of flight. 11.8 x 8.8 cm 3 photos of male and female civilians and men in uniforms. 13.8 x 8.5 cm; 2 balloon telegrams and an explanation of how they work. The balloon lifts off with carrier pigeons on board. These are being released in mid air to deliver short messages. 6.7 x 7.5 / 13.2 x 8.4 cm; very fine overall.
