An Uplifting 1942 Christmas Note From the SS Leadership to his SS Men and Comrades
This is a christmas note, published during the advent of 1942, from the SS-Obergruppenführer und General der Polizei, Joseph Erbprinz von Waldeck-Pyrmont. Within it, he delivers an uplifting message to his troops currently stationed at the front during the Christmas season of 1942. He inspires them to remain strong and to fight honourably despite the unfavourable winter weather, while they await the return to their families. The note is double-sided, printed on paper in black gothic print, and measures 208 mm x 148 mm; previously folded in half, in near mint condition.
