A lot of five wartime studio portraits, including one depicting a Feldwebel in a tropical tunic, wearing the 1939 Iron Cross I Class, a Silver Grade Infantry Assault Badge, and a Silver Grade Wound Badge, in addition to a ribbon bar featuring a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, an Eastern Front Medal, and a Wehrmacht Long Service Decoration with Heer device, the reverse in postcard format and bearing a handwritten dedication of “MEINEN LIEBEN ELTERN, KRIEGSWEIHNACHT 1944” (“MY DEAR PARENTS, CHRISTMAS AT WAR 1944”), with a name of “HÄRTEL”, printed on Mimosa postcard paper, measuring 90 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a NCO in uniform and wearing the Krim Shield, 1939 Iron Cross I Class, Silver Grade Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade Wound Badge, and a 1939 Iron Cross II Class ribbon, the reverse unmarked, printed on Agfa postcard paper, measuring 85 mm (w) x 133 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting an Enlisted soldier wearing a Heer Flak Badge and Black Grade Wound Badge, the reverse bearing a handwritten dedication from Rabenstein, dated 26 February 1944, measuring 88 mm (w) x 136 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting an Enlisted soldier wearing a Silver Grade Infantry Assault Badge and indeterminate Wound Badge in addition to a 1939 Iron Cross II Class ribbon, the reverse unmarked, printed on Mimosa postcard paper, measuring 88 mm (w) x 136 mm (h), with soiling and material wear evident throughout, in fair condition, and; one depicting an Enlisted soldier wearing a Silver Grade Wound Badge, 1939 Iron Cross II Class ribbon, and an Eastern Front Medal ribbon bar, the reverse bearing a brief handwritten dedication, printed on Mimosa postcard paper, measuring 87 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), with some soiling and material wear evident, in very fine condition.
