A pair of Waffenhefte des Heeres (Weapon Books of the Army) booklets, including one volume of “DIE ARTILLERIE” (“THE ARTILLERY”), constructed of an off-white paper stock binding, with both the front and back covers bearing full-colour illustrations of Heer artillery units, the interior content consisting of 32 off-white paper pages with information on the roles of various types of artillery in the field, supplemented by 32 black-and-white photographs and additional diagrams, published in 1940 by Deutscher Volksverlag of Munich, measuring 146 mm (w) x 202 mm (h), age-appropriate discolouration evident, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; one volume of “DIE NEBELTRUPPE” (“THE SMOKE TROOPS”), constructed of an off-white paper stock binding, with both the front and back covers bearing full-colour illustrations of Heer mortar and smoke units, the interior content consisting of 31 off-white paper pagers with detailed descriptions on the roles of mortar and smoke units in the field, supplemented by 13 black-and-white photographs, published in 1940 by Deutscher Volksverlag of Munich, measuring 146 mm (w) x 202 mm (h), the front and back covers have separated from the booklet, in overall very fine condition.
